Evaluate the uncertainty in a measurement system using Quantum XL's MSA. Quantum XL's XbarR and ANOVA analysis methods are compliant with the AIAG Measurement System Analysis 4th edition. Quantum XL supports the following MSA methods.
ANOVA Method
Compute Gage R&R based on results from two-way ANOVA analysis.
The report starts with Stats Advisor which helps users understand numerical and graphical results of the MSA analysis.
The MSA report also includes:
- Gage R&R table (Equipment Variation, Operator (appraiser) Variation, Repeatability & Reproducibility, and Part Variation)
- Xbar Chart
- Range Chart
- Components of variation chart
- Operator by Part Chart
- Gage Performance Curve Chart
- Gage Linearity and Bias report
XbarR Method
Compute Gage R&R based on results from XbarR analysis. The report is similar to that for the ANOVA method.
Attribute Analysis - Crosstabulations Method
This method is used for finding operator agreement.
Report includes Effectiveness tables (effectiveness of the measurement system), Kappa tables (agreement between two operators or operator and a reference), and Crosstabulation (comparing each of the operators to the other or to a reference value).
Attribute Analysis - Analytic Method
The report table displays the formulas for the Fitted Line, Bias and Repeatability, and t-Test for Bias=0.
Along with numerical analysis, Quantum XL will display the Best Fit line chart plotted on the normal probability scale and Gage Capability Curve.
