DOE Pro 2007

Microsoft released Microsoft Office 2007 at the end of January 2007. Microsoft Excel 2007 has a number of errors that prevent many of the features in DOE Pro from working correctly. Additionally, the user interface has changed significantly, as the menus have been replaced with the new ribbon interface. We have worked around the errors and have added support for the ribbon interface in the soon-to-be-released DOE Pro 2007. In order to run DOE Pro on Microsoft Excel 2007, you will need to download and install DOE Pro 2007.

DOE Pro 2007 is currently in beta and can be downloaded using the link below. For this beta, you will need your serial number in the form DP-####-######. If you find any compatiblity problems with DOE Pro 2007, please email them to techsupport@sigmazone.com with information about what you were doing and what error you received.

Do I need to uninstall my old copy of DOE PRO XL?

No, but you can if you would like.

I have heard that there are a lot of problems with Excel Add-Ins when using Excel 2007, is this true?

Yes, the new version of Excel has a lot of issues. Please be aware that multiple other Office Add-Ins are having problems with Office 2007. For example, some versions of Adobe Acrobat throw an error message "Compile error in hidden module: DistMon" each time Excel 2007 is started and again when it is shut down. This error is not related to DOE Pro XL in any way.

You do not need to uninstall the current version before installing this upgrade. However, make sure you have the original media (CD) so that you can go back to the original DOE Pro should you need to.
