DOE Pro XL 2007 is a free upgrade for users that purchased DOE Pro since 1 June 2004. If your serial number is in the form DP-XXXX-XXXXXX (where X is a numeric digit) then you are eligible. For more information about the upgrade and how to obtain the upgrade, please read the FAQs below.

What versions of Excel is DOE PRO XL 2007 compatible with?
DOE PRO XL 2007 is compatible with Excel 2000, 2002 (XP), 2003, and 2007.

How do I get the upgrade?
You will need your serial number DP-####-###### (DP-4 digits-6
digits). When you have your serial number visit our
upgrade page to obtain the
upgrade.

What if I do not have or can not find a serial number?
If you purchased your software prior to June 2004 then there is a modest
upgrade fee to upgrade to the 2007 version. Contact AAA at 719-531-0777
for more information.
Does "Free Upgrade" mean that DOE Pro XL is free to anyone?
No, you must have a legal purchased copy of the commercial version of
DOE Pro XL. If your received a free copy, trial copy, demo copy, etc., then
you are not entitled to a free upgrade. In simpler terms, if you or your
company purchased DOE Pro XL then you are entitled to a free upgrade. If
not, we would be happy to sell you a copy.

What new features are in DOE Pro XL 2007 over previous versions?

- DOE PRO XL has been digitally signed allowing you to bypass the "Enable Macros" dialog.
- Support for locales (languages) that use "," as a decimal separator instead of ".".
- Change in calculation of Sigma Capability to match SPC XL.
- Pareto of Regression coefficients color bars turn red with p-value is less than .05 and blue when p-value is between .05 and .1.
- Titles of most graphs include the response name.
- The maximum number of responses (outputs) has been increased from 10 to 30.
- SmartScale technology scales graphs for friendly axis units.
Does DOE Pro XL 2007 support the Ribbon Interface in Excel 2007?
Yes, the ribbon interface is fully supported.
Do I need to uninstall my old copy of DOE Pro?
No, but uninstalling the old copy will not hamper your install in any way.
I have heard that there are a lot of problems with Excel Add-Ins when
using Excel 2007; is this true?
Yes, the new version of Excel has a lot of issues. Please be aware that
multiple other Office Add-Ins are having problems with Office 2007. For
example, some versions of Adobe Acrobat throw an error message "Compile
error in hidden module: DistMon" each time Excel 2007 is started and again
when it is shut down. This error is not related to DOE Pro XL in any way.
Excel Integration
DOE Pro XL integrates directly within Microsoft Excel. After installation, you will have a new menu item on the Excel toolbar entitled "DOE Pro".
