SPC XL 2007
Microsoft released Microsoft Office 2007 at the end of January 2007. Microsoft Excel 2007 has a number of errors that prevent many of the features in SPC XL from working correctly. Additionally, the user interface has changed significantly, as the menus have been replaced with the new ribbon interface. We have worked around the errors and have added support for the ribbon interface in the soon-to-be-released SPC XL 2007. In order to run SPC XL on Microsoft Excel 2007, you will need to download and install SPC XL 2007.
SPC XL 2007 is currently in beta and can be downloaded using the link below. For this beta, you will need your serial number in the form SX-####-######. If you find any compatibility problems with SPC XL 2007, please email them to techsupport@sigmazone.com with information about what you were doing and what error you received.
SPC XL 2007 is compatible with Excel 2000, 2002, 2003 (XP), and 2007.

What if I don't have a serial number in the format SX-####-######? If you have a 9 digit numerical serial number, then click here for more information.
When will SPC XL 2007 come out of beta and be released? We plan on releasing SPC XL 2007 in the second quarter of 2007. In the meantime, the beta is freely available to any licensed user.

Do I need to uninstall my old copy of SPC XL?
No, but uninstalling the old copy will not hamper your install in any way.
I have heard that there are a lot of problems with Excel Add-Ins when
using Excel 2007; is this true?
Yes, the new version of Excel has a lot of issues. Please be aware that
multiple other Office Add-Ins are having problems with Office 2007. For
example, some versions of Adobe Acrobat throw an error message "Compile
error in hidden module: DistMon" each time Excel 2007 is started and again
when it is shut down. This error is not related to SPC XL in any way.
Excel Integration
SPC XL integrates directly within Microsoft Excel. After installation, you will have a new menu item on the Excel toolbar entitled "SPC XL".
Update Charts
All of the control charts in SPC XL can be updated without having to recreate the chart.
Share results
All of SPC XL's analysis results in a standard Excel workbook that can be shared with anyone who has Excel.
