Unstack Columns

SPC XL 2007 supports a new feature called "Unstack Data". This feature will move data from a database or flat file format to a column structure.

Simple Example

Source Data - The left column has subscripts or groups. Data from a database commonly comes in this format.

Select "SPC XL" - "Quality Tools" - "Unstack Columns".

The "Subscripts Range" is the column with type (different types of cars) and the "Data Range" is the column with Ticket Rate.

Advanced Example

Both the Subscripts and the data range can be more than one column. For example, with the following data...

... if you unstack using columns A and B as the subscripts and columns C and D as the data range...

.. the result will be an unstacked Region,

and an unstacked Type.

Excel Integration

SPC XL integrates directly within Microsoft Excel. After installation, you will have a new menu item on the Excel toolbar entitled "SPC XL".

All of the control charts in SPC XL can be updated without having to recreate the chart.

All of SPC XL's analysis results in a standard Excel workbook that can be shared with anyone who has Excel.
